Footwearology is the institute with the most experience in 3D printing worldwide. We will use our knowledge to curate a program that presents full digital manufacturing workflows, including design software, materials and finishes
Combining knitting and printing
At FOOTPRINT 3D we combine all 3D digital manufacturing technologies. Recently we expanded our Footwearlogy Lab with the latest 3D knitting machine by Santoni. We look forward to showing some groundbreaking modular constructions combining knitting and printing.
3D Printed Tooling
We will be looking at additive manufacturing from all angles, including various options for 3D printed tooling or for combining molding and printing in new ways

3D printing is not just limited to sneakers! In fact, HP recently printed a new and improved version of a classic Oxford for Dior with their MJF technology! At FOOTPRINT 3D we will explain ideal digital manufacturing solutions for each footwear segment.
Molding meets printing
Recently Adidas released a line of molded footwear that was fully inspired by FDM printing, mimicking the typical layers that you create when 3D printing with filament. At FOOTPRINT 3D we will take a real deep dive into the future of both printing AND molding, since we believe both technologies will coexist in new ways!
